InvestBraga
Launched in March 2014, InvestBraga - Agência para a Dinamização Económica de Braga has been acting as the economic arm of the municipality, with the mission of promoting economic development in the region. By investing in the credibility of the municipality as a business partner, InvestBraga promotes the attraction of investment and entrepreneurs, making the innovation factor the main competitive advantage.
InvestBraga's activity covers four areas:
- Economic Dynamization and Attracting Investment national and international for the region, through the Braga Economic Dynamization Agency.
- The development of pre-acceleration, acceleration and incubation programs for startups with global ambitions, through the Startup Braga which is an innovation hub designed to support the creation and development of technology-based companies with high entrepreneurial potential in international markets.
- The promotion and organization of trade fairs, congresses, seminars and events, in the Forum BragaThis is in line with the city's strategic positioning in the national and international context, focusing on differentiation through modernization and the dissemination of trends, fostering the creation of unique brands and events capable of boosting economic development.
- The latest business unit, the Braga Youth Center/Braga Youth HostelIts mission is to provide accommodation and working conditions capable of promoting non-formal education, human rights and the promotion of creativity, entrepreneurship, citizenship and youth association projects. It seeks to establish itself as a benchmark facility for youth work, with high quality standards, capable of implementing youth policies from a local and international perspective.
