See more +Casa Rolão was built between 1758 and 1761 by the Rolão family, who were involved in silk production. The project was designed by the Braga architect André Soares, one of the great names of European rococo. Since 1977, the building has been classified as a Property of Public Interest and is an outstanding example of 18th century civil architecture, especially for the elegant moldings that adorn the doors and windows. Today, Casa Rolão houses the "Centésima Página" bookshop.
