
It was organized by the Ukrainian community living in Braga to pay tribute to the demonstrators who died in the protests that took place in the emblematic Maidan square.
See more +The monument to the Bimillenary of the City of Braga, known as the "Perpetual Movement", was inaugurated on June 24, 2000 and erected by the Braga City Council to mark the 2,000th anniversary of the founding of Bracara Augusta. It is located on Cividade Hill, as it is one of the most significant sites and where the most traces of Roman times can be found.
Designed by artist and sculptor Pedro Cabrita Reis, the concrete monument is a replica of a Roman aqueduct made up of three round arches supported by three pillars, each pillar with two circular and rectangular columns arranged irregularly.
