History
Founded more than 90 years ago by Teresa Ferreira, this small store has kept its original location. Originally, it sold vegetables and potatoes. In the 1970s, the store was taken over by her daughter Mariazinha, who renamed the store and started selling other types of products, including fruit, flowers and wines. In 1991, João Ferreira, the founder's grandson, took over the management of the business and is the current owner, making up the third generation of the family to run the business. With more than 90 years of existence, Pomar da Mariazinha is a reference point for those looking for fresh, quality products, many of which are bought directly from local producers, with most of the products sold being of regional and national origin.
