The store
Located at number 7 Álvaro Vieira Nogueira Street, with a privileged view over the magnificent Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary, the Adega Regional de Tenões restaurant is a local landmark where you can try traditional Portuguese cuisine in a cozy, family atmosphere.
History
Founded in 1966, Adega Regional de Tenões is currently owned by Fernando Dias, who reopened the restaurant in the 1990s, thus fulfilling his dream of becoming a restaurant owner. Having been at the helm of the restaurant for around 30 years, he has carried out a number of refurbishments and improvements over the years, with a view to creating a more welcoming atmosphere, but without ever departing from the traditional, in order to provide a better experience for those who visit.
A family-run restaurant with excellent cuisine, the highlights of which are the wood-fired roast suckling pig, the "Papas de Sarrabulho" and, of course, the traditional cod made in various ways. The table is the place where memories are made and savored.
