Located at number 11 Rua de São Marcos, Óptica Cerqueira Gomes is a century-old establishment that, over the five generations it has passed through, has combined the experience of more than a century with modern comforts to meet the needs of its customers, offering various specialized services in its field.
History
Óptica Cerqueira Gomes was founded in 1890 by optician Manuel António Maneiro Gomes, and has remained in the same family for five generations. Located in Rua de São Marcos, it operated until 1930 in the building next to the current one.
It works with the most prestigious brands of ophthalmic lenses (Essilor and Zeiss) as well as frames from its own brands (Look, Materika) and the most famous couturiers.
