National 103/ Northern Route

The Northern Route is a 777 km circular route that links the coast to the interior; a road trip that connects two epic roads, the National 103 and the National 222.
Running through the entire northern region of Portugal, it is considered a Great Route and connects the four tourist sub-destinations of northern Portugal (Minho, Trás-os-Montes, Douro and Porto). It crosses 35 municipalities, a territory with 3.6 million inhabitants, crossing the more urban coastal landscapes with the "paintings" of the more rural interior.
