A must on the Easter table in Braga, Fidalguinhos are traditional cookies with origins in convent sweets (the recipe for Fidalguinhos is part of the recipes of the Convent of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios in Braga).
Crunchy, with a hint of cinnamon and a shape that resembles two crossed legs, in a satire on the fidalgos, i.e. the hereditary nobles who didn't need to make any effort to achieve their goals, the Fidalguinhos are considered an addictive delicacy of Braga's confectionery.
