In a political landscape in upheaval, João, the protégé and political successor of an old political leader, rises to power through charisma and manipulation. When João is tasked with bringing back Antónia, his mentor's daughter and a rebellious figure, he is confronted with feelings and dilemmas that shake his certainties. Between power games, desire and political-ideological heritage, Paulo Rocha creates a dense and symbolic drama about identity and impermanence.
