A movie by Michael Powell. Mark Lewis is a cameraman by day and a nude photographer by night. An aspiring director, he is also making a documentary about fear, hiding a dark side: his obsession with capturing the terror of his victims in images while he kills them. He befriends Helena, a young woman who lives with her mother in the apartment below his, and tells her vaguely about the film he is making. The Victim of Fear is today claimed to be one of the darkest masterpieces in the history of cinema.
