Exhibition Pictorial Vibrations, Ana Marlene Lima

We live immersed in a constant stream of sensory stimuli. In the course of our daily experiences, colors, smells, sounds and textures subtly - and sometimes overwhelmingly - shape our perception of the world. There are moments when these impressions intertwine: a scent transports us through time and space, a melody evokes forgotten images, a color awakens tactile or auditory sensations. It is at this intersection of sensory planes - in this synesthetic experience - that this exhibition: "Pictorial Vibrations" is set.
