Staged reading by Marcos Barbosa

Set in a Brazilian metropolis, the play explores themes such as violence, power and moral ambiguity in a society where justice and personal ethics often clash. With economic dialogues, it gradually reveals the dynamics of power and the unspoken rules that govern the abyss of class conflict in Brazil, while its characters orbit the murder of a boy. Through the strength of the subtexts, the work builds a climate of disquiet, where silence and gaps speak as much as words. After the reading, there will be a remote conversation with the author, mediated by Manoel Candeias.
