Located at 45-47 Rua do Castelo, against the backdrop of the old Braga Castle, Armazéns do Castelo is a store specializing in men's and women's clothing, where the vast majority of the products sold are produced in Portugal.
History
It was in 1957 that António Olímpio Teixeira da Costa, a shopkeeper who had already worked in large stores in Porto and Lisbon, decided to come to Braga and open Armazéns do Castelo. The store began by selling fabrics by the meter and also bedspreads.
His son, José Ernesto Moura Peixoto Costa, is currently continuing the business, which now has 65 years of history. Armazéns do Castelo is a men's and women's clothing store where the vast majority of the products sold are produced in Portugal.
A store that is an example of continuity, but which has also been able to innovate, captivating the interest of older generations, but also younger ones.
