Braga is Christmas

The magic and spirit of Christmas invades the streets of the city, offering the best of Christmas traditions to locals and visitors alike.
During the month of December, the city's "doors open" to dozens of concerts and street shows, competitions and exhibitions, cinema, creative workshops, a Christmas bonfire, a giant Christmas cake and a Christmas tent, where dance, music and theater shows also take place.

Highlights of the vast program include the Christmas Concert in the Cathedral, the traditional S. Silvestre Race and the Christmas Parade, full of creativity and magic, with hundreds of extras embodying characters from the Christmas imagination along the main arteries of Braga's historic center.
In addition to this program, the largest Living Nativity Scene in Europe takes place in the parish of Priscos between December and January.
