The Aeródromo Municipal de Braga, located in Palmeira, is an infrastructure dedicated to light aviation, with a focus on recreational and training activities. Although not as large as those for commercial aviation, it has a runway suitable for small aircraft, such as airplanes and ultralights, and is used for a variety of activities, including leisure flights, pilot training and air events.
The airfield is also home to several aviation clubs, offering conditions for sport aviation, and is very popular with those wishing to learn to fly or take part in activities such as scenic flights and experience flights.
