See more +The Festa em Honra de São Miguel, which takes place in Gualtar, Braga, on the last weekend of September, is a traditional event that combines religiosity and popular culture. The highlight of the festival is the solemn mass followed by the procession through the streets of the parish, moments of great significance for the local community. In addition to the religious component, the festival offers a varied cultural program, including "desfolhadas minhotas" with "cantares ao desafio", live concerts, meetings of folklore groups and activities for children, providing fun for all ages.
Held in the center of the parish, next to the Church of São Miguel, this festival is an excellent opportunity for visitors to get to know and experience the traditions, faith and genuine conviviality of a Minho community.
