The Festa em Honra do Senhor da Agonia (Feast in Honor of Our Lord of Agony) is celebrated every year at the beginning of September, next to the Chapel of Our Lord of Agony, located on an emblematic rock in Maximinos, Braga. The event combines religious devotion, with a solemn mass in the chapel, and community life.
Even in years when the popular festivities were suspended due to weather conditions, part of the religious celebrations were maintained, guaranteeing the continuity of the tradition in the community
