The Church of São Vicente was built between the end of the 17th century and the first decades of the following century.
See more +The Oratory of Our Lady of the Tower, located in the Torre de Santiago, was built in the 18th century by André Soares in thanks for protection during the 1755 earthquake. The tower itself, a former medieval gate and lookout point for the city, retains its original structure, which contrasts with the rocaille decoration of the north façade. The building is divided into two levels, with the stone clock and bell tower standing out on the upper level.
