Parque da Ponte is one of the city's main urban parks, bringing together two distinct green spaces that combine nature, culture and leisure.
See more +Located on one of the highest points in the city center, this space offers a privileged panoramic view over the city of Braga, allowing you to clearly see Monte do Bom Jesus, Sameiro and Falperra. There stands the imposing Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the city's most striking buildings.
It was built on the initiative of the Confraternity of Guadalupe, with the support of the then Archbishop D. Rodrigo Moura Teles. Rodrigo de Moura Teles, who blessed it on March 23, 1725. On the main door is inscribed the date 1747, the year of its completion.
