Cavadinho River Beach - Crespos

Located about 20 minutes by car from the center of Braga, this beach - bathed by the Cávado River - is surrounded by a natural landscape that offers numerous shaded spaces.
It is ideal for leisure time with family and friends. Work has been carried out to provide the area with various support infrastructures, such as a parking lot with spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility, toilets, a bar, a picnic area, a first aid station and a drinking fountain.

This beach is part of the Cávado and Homem ecovia which, in the future, will connect the mouth of the Cávado in Esposende to Moimenta, in the municipality of Terras de Bouro. This investment will make it possible to create pedestrian and cycling routes.

This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag since 2025.

It will be guarded by lifeguards between 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. during the 2025 bathing season, which runs from June 14 to September 14.
