Braga has once again been chosen as the host city for the Dance World Cup (DWC), one of the largest international dance competitions for young people, reinforcing its position as a destination of excellence for global events.

By first time in DWC historythe organization repeated a host city, a clear recognition of Braga's capacity to successfully hosting large-scale artistic and logistical events.

Highlights of the Braga Edition:

  • More than 7,500 athletes (children and young people) from 50 countries.

  • More than 100,000 visits over nine days.

  • Presentations in modalities such as: classical ballet, contemporary ballet, hip-hop, street dance, acro dance, jazz, tap dancing, commercial dances, national folklore and ballroom dancing.

  • Complementary initiatives: parade through the historic center, masterclassesgalas and award ceremonies.

Infrastructures of Excellence
The event took place in two of the city's most prestigious venues:

  • O Altice Forum Bragawith high-level logistical, technical and organizational capacity.

  • O Theatro Circo, a cultural and scenic icon who elevated the artistic component of the event.
