Free course: Decorative Arts

In this free course we aim to keep traditional production practices alive in the manual areas of decorative painting, conservation and restoration, but also to encourage the search for new designs and technical solutions that add value to traditional know-how in the form, decoration, manner and product applied. applied product. Respect for the teachings received is reflected in the concern to maintain the highest quality in the Decorative Arts and, at the same time, to encourage practices that mobilize possibilities to generate new ideas that motivate participants to reinvent solutions for creating new images by relating concepts, materials, media and techniques.

Objectives:

Identify and characterize the materials, techniques and tools of the decorative arts.

Design, develop and execute decorative projects using a variety of techniques on shellac, wood, ivory, glass, plaster, metal and canvas.

Make projects using epoxy resin, resin for molds, paraffin, glycerin, plaster.
